MCA demonstrates technical competence in the planning and design of electrical and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional facilities. Our experience and services include the engineering design of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, fire protection, power distribution, lighting, security and communications systems. In addition, our firm is experienced with design for specialty areas including airports, automation and control room facilities, retail spaces, patient care and procedural areas, courthouses, prisons, laboratories, shrines, special education centers, housing, hotels and other hospitality facilities, sugar mills and refineries, petrochemical industry, highways and bridges, etc.
Our project involvement covers a wide spectrum. The technical expertise and applications range from a technical assessment project, systems retrofit, maintenance projects for continuous user operations (airports, hospitals, fire station), which can include new construction and/or remodeling within these facilities or interior alteration projects for both new and revised occupancy, to major renovations and expansion projects, new construction projects, multi-discipline design team efforts, cost estimation for both concept and construction and the overall management of a project from inception to completion. We provide our services locally, domestic and internationally. Our professional staff are familiar with U.S., metric and European standards for engineering.
MCA is proficient in the design of continuous availability facilities to support mission critical and business critical systems. Special considerations are given to reliability, availability and adaptability of critical support systems such as uninterruptible power systems, emergency, standby power generation, fire detection and suppression, raised/access floors, special HVAC considerations, power conditioning and distribution, and physical security. We know how to deliver designs to meet the day-one and future needs of our clients.
